Nubra Valley is the northernmost part of Jammu and Kashmir. Situated about 150 km from Leh, it is a must-see place during a trip to Ladakh fro it’s cold desert with Bactrian camels, and fourteenth-century Diskit Monastery. The road from Leh is very famous as it crosses the world’s highest motorable pass, the Khardung La, at 5,380 m (17,650 ft), surrounded by beautiful landscapes
